What is the relationship between Free and Pro trials?

Free is the starter edition, free forever. New users automatically receive a 1-month free Pro trial upon first login/registration. Becoming a founder member or inviting friends grants up to 6 extra months of trial (up to 7 months total). After the trial, accounts revert to Free, but local library management, previews, smart assistant, and export history remain 100% free forever.

Are prices and benefits the same in every market?

CatchBan currently uses the same ¥99 launch price and ¥168 standard price for this public purchase flow. Payment is handled through the current Alipay manual-verification channel; future international payment options may be introduced separately.

Can I keep using the software if 1-year update entitlements expire without renewing?

Yes. Purchasing Pro grants continued use of your activated version. After the first update-entitlement period, your existing version remains usable; later releases and new features follow the update terms shown for the applicable checkout route.

What rewards do Founder Members and referrals receive?

Binding a Founder activation code or successfully inviting an eligible new user grants the Founder 1 stacked Pro month, with all Founder rewards capped at 6 months total. How does the purchasing process work?

Clicking "Buy Pro" leads to the official checkout page. Enter and verify your CatchBan account email, receive the current Alipay payment information, and keep your payment screenshot and order reference. Activation is completed after manual review; support can help verify an order.

Is this a recurring auto-renewing yearly subscription?

No automatic renewal is promised unless the applicable checkout explicitly says so. CatchBan Pro is a one-time purchase, while later update entitlements are optional and follow the terms shown at checkout.

Can I request a refund after purchase?

Yes. If you encounter an issue after purchasing, contact support@catchban.com and refer to the applicable Refund & After-Sales Policy. Requests are reviewed according to the applicable order and policy terms; approved handling may revoke related Pro entitlements.

How do I confirm my Pro entitlement after payment?

After order review and activation, view your Pro status and update-entitlement date on the in-app "Account & Entitlements" page. If the status is not shown, re-login or restart the app to sync.
